Produced from Ayam Cemani crossed over White Leghorn hens, these hatching eggs will produce dark-feathered birds with a striking, varied appearance.

Often referred to as “Zombie chickens”, they are selected for their darker colouring and unique look, while benefiting from the laying ability and hardiness of White Leghorn influence.

These are not a recognised pure breed, but a consistent type bred for appearance and practicality.

Please note that F1 Zombies are a project cross, so chicks can hatch with a wide range of appearances and colouring. Leg colour, comb colour and beak colour can vary from pink and lighter tones through to darker shades depending on the genetics inherited from the parent birds.

These features often change and develop further as the chicks grow and feather up. This natural variation is completely normal within the project group and part of what makes Zombie lines unique.
