Tutti frutti/Rainbow hybrid hatching eggs

Our Tutti Frutti / Rainbow Hybrid Hatching Eggs are a great choice if you’re looking to hatch a colourful and varied flock, with the potential for the hens to go on to lay a fantastic mixture of egg colours.

The eggs are collected from our carefully selected breeding groups, combining breeds and strains chosen for their different egg colours. Depending on the genetics inherited, the resulting hens can produce a range of shades including blue, green, olive, dark brown, white, cream and traditional brown eggs.

As these are mixed hybrid hatching eggs, the chicks can vary considerably in colour, markings and appearance. This is all part of the appeal — you won’t know exactly what you have until they hatch and develop.

Our breeding groups are regularly fertility tested, and we only offer hatching eggs from proven breeding pens.

All hatching eggs are carefully selected before packing. Eggs sent by post are securely packed in purpose-made polystyrene egg boxes and then further boxed to provide additional protection during transit, helping them arrive in the best possible condition.

Postage

Hatching eggs are posted Monday to Thursday only. We do not post eggs on Fridays, as this avoids them being held within the Royal Mail network over the weekend.

Collection is also available directly from The Hatch Shed in White Colne, near Colchester, Essex.

Please note: While we take great care in selecting and packaging our hatching eggs, we cannot guarantee the fertility or hatch rate of eggs once posted, as handling during transit and incubation conditions are outside our control. Fertility should be assessed by candling during incubation.
